The object that I have chosen to model and animated is a mini racer car. This type of mini racer toys was first introduced in Japan nearly 14 years ago. It is power by two normal AA batteries and utilizes the roller on the front and rear bumper against the 3.5" tall sidewall to retain the mini racer on the track, since it does not have any steering component or capabilities. The main goal racer tries to accomplish is a record setting time, or if was a head to headrace the winner will depend on the car that crosses the finish gate first. As time past, advancement on these mini racers has grown rapidly. A large variety of performance upgrade became available to racer to allow the car to be faster and allowing better grip in cornering, from component such as; a faster electric motor, better connector, a stronger battery, close and wide gear ratio set, light wheel and frame, soft racing compound racing tire, ball bearing spacer for drive shaft and rollers.

The mini racer is control by a manual push on/off switch, where the copper connectors transfer power in a parallel matter from both AA battery power sources. Speed of motor cannot be altered since it is a direct current transfer, but transfer of power and torque can be alter through a different gear set which consist of a larger varieties of gear ratio. Alteration of drive drain from 4WD to Rear wheel drive are done by the removal of transfer shaft, which connects the front, and rear transfer gear. Spacer is placed between frame and drive shaft to reduce friction as well as increase in shaft stabilities during operations. The side Roller that are attached to both front and rear of the mini racer bumper provide turning ability against the sidewall of the track. Wheelie bar Rollers are used to reduced or eliminate frame movement after jumps. Slick Tires or Soft compound tires increases grip level by a large amount of friction force between track surfaces and tires.
