Introduction

Before electric blenders or mixers there was the Manual Hand Blender. Though not as common in a typical kitchen now with all the latest developments in kitchen tools and appliances it still can be found in few kitchens and many stores. The Manual Hand Blender is used for mixing of various foods like eggs.

Description of Model and Moving Parts

The Manual Hand Blender is made of stainless steel. When looking at the blender the immediate part that sticks out is the big wheel with teeth. The Manual Hand Blender consists of a rotating handle and a fixed handle, which enables the user to hold the blender in position. When the rotating handle is turned it moves the big wheel with teeth, which in turn moves two sprockets that are interlinked with the big wheel. Each sprocket is attached to a mixer arm. So as the sprockets rotate the two mixer arms also rotate. Attached to the each mixer arm is a bottom and top mixer, which perform the actual mixing.

Bill of Materials

The Manual Hand Blender consists of a total of 18 parts where 12 are unique and 6 are identical. In total there are four interlinking parts.
