The
project that I have chosen is a Lego Robot (ONUA). This has a total of
30 parts such as
- Body frame
- Pins
- Spur gears etc..
The way this design works, it has a mechanisms that consist of 4 spur gears, 1 large one and 3 small ones. Three of the gears are attached on the top of the frame of the design, it works sort of like a gear box.
The way this mechanism is set up is by attaching each of the arms to the central frame and gears by putting a pin through each side and another small gear going in the same direction as the large gear with a pin going through it, in order to hold it. With these connections the arms can move up and down with fast motion.
