For my animation project I have selected to model and animate a car stereo CD player.
The actual stereo consists of 7 independent parts.
- The face plate (control panel)
- Main unit
- Trim plate
- Mounting sleeve
- Heat sink
- Bolts
- Wires
Plus other miscellaneous parts that will be included in the animation such as:
- Screw driver
- Wire cutters
- CD and CD case
The goal of this animation is to simulate an installation guide, or a product presentation to a potential client. The animation will show the product fully assembled as well as the exploded view. It will also illustrate the CD decks full range of motion.
The face plate of the CD deck is motorized, therefore when you press the button the face plate moves down revealing the CD slot. You may also change the angle of the face plate.
