As a learning assistant I collaborated with students via three major conducts. I assistant professors with providing real-time support to students participating in hands on exercises, providing examples, short tutorials and enrichment opportunities. I also organized and lead moderated and collaborative study sessions in which students participate for remedial or enrichment purposes on subjects identified and defined in collaboration with faculty members and the course coordinator. Lastly, I had to be available for the remaining time in the production studio at HMC for appointments and drop-in sessions with individual or small groups of students.
At the POI Company I was responsible to perform QA and POI assessments and inspections of finishes in newly constructed homes and coordinate with construction closing dates and POI schedules ensuring customer satisfaction. Coordinate and conduct predelivery presentations with home purchasers in compliance with the Tarion new home warranty program and Ontario Building Code. Completing all documentation in an efficient manner ensuring all information is put in Newstar. I also responded to the needs of the purchasers throughout the different phases of their new home buying experience.
At the City of Brampton, I assisted in the drawings of the City's infrastructure assets within ESRI and updating infrastructure attributes from drawings and other sources along with supporting the planning of maintenance activities by updating operational maps using ESRI. Linked the software ESRI and G.I.S in a municipal environment. Used software's such as Geomedia, MicroStation, dTims CT and Microsoft Excel to input and extract data.
Conduct proactive and reactive inspections and patrols of banks, commercial and residential buildings, malls, and special events for security, fire and life safety hazards: ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation. Provide reception services at security desk; respond to in person, phone and email inquiries and requests and direct to appropriate staff member or department. Complete documentation and review for completeness and accuracy in accordance with policies and procedures; prepare daily security logs and incident reports; capture, enter update and validate client information in database Defuse altercations by proactively responding to and resolving potential conflicts and hazards.
