Acquiring a job that will let me apply the knowledge I have obtained in the 3 year Sheridan College Architectural Technology Program, and foremost concentrate on the application of building design and construction.

Professional Experience

October 2009 to February 2010
Process Engineer, Ford Canada

  • Responsible for supporting the launch of MKX manufacturing processes, ensuring a smooth transition and a reliable process, as well as a quality product and an efficient plant.

  • Continuous improvement of the manufacturing process, material handling, cell and line layout.

  • Ensure all documentation is completed as required


July 2002 to October 2009
Vendor Representative, ArvinMeritor LVS, Roof Systems.

  • Responsible for and supported Windsor Chrysler Facility during launch of Mini-Van and Pacifica Platform through Pilot Builds and Training of union operators in the assembly of Sunroofs to Vehicles.

  • Work with and lead Chrysler union operators, Chrysler Core Team Engineers and Black Belts to line installation issues through to final resolution. 

  • Initiate and follow-up on corrective actions with Product and Quality Engineers at ArvinMeritor.

  • Set up and Controlled all PER (Part Evaluation Run) for ArvinMeritor at customer plant.


June 1997 to July 2002
Co-ordinate Measuring Machine Operator and Quality Technician, TKA Fabco

  • Actively involved with new part launches for Caterpillar—most notably the 4-story Land Mover package for the Asian market.

  • Utilized knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, measuring final assembly parts with the Co-ordinate Measuring Machine and notified corrections to the Prototype Department.

  • 3 year Architectural Technology Program: Drafting Computer-aided design, 3D modeling, Visual problem-solving, Project administration, Preparation of contract documents and specs, Detailing, Estimating.

  • Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing:  Blue Print drawing interpretation.
    Co-ordinate Measuring Machine: Mitutoya 5.1 software.  The software package allows the scanning of contours on parts that cannot be defined mathematically and allows data to be transferred to the controller.
    Inspection Methods: Language and systems of measurements.
    Amps: Identifying and elimination of waste, Work Place organization, Pull vs Push system.
