The Aurora Hideaway is a project that was designed for a Visualization Class for the Northern Lights Icelandic Competition.

Three goals we tried to achieved through this project was to create a unique and separate living space for a group of four to view the Northern Lights from.

The structure was inspired by the free flowing form of the Northern Lights. The interconnected curves of the design creates a distinctive shape which stands out from every angle.

62 Passive house is a project that was created for the Advanced Residential class. The scope of this project is surrounded by sustainability.

There was excessive amounts of research done in order to achieve this passive solar design, some including, sun paths during different times of the year, sizes of windows in order to achieve the right amount of sunlight, location of windows, sizes of overhangs for shading and more.

My design is a modern but sustainable approach with superinsulated construction.
