A Passive house approach to reuse this
historic silo building as an accessible green
centre. My design goal was to create a
space where people can socialize, have fun
and grow their own food at the same time
while keeping most of the facades intact.
Heavy Timber, triple pane silicone/structural glazing
natural stone and aged stained steel proposed for the addition to create a
massing that respects the existing building
and fits well with its architectural style.
The project included a feature accessible
ramp, panoramic elevator, green and
integrated solar panels energy production.

A Major addition to 3-storey office
building and change its occupancy to art
gallery and studios. The design features a
dramatic sloped green roof, tilted walls
and columns to update the appearance of
the boxy building. A pyramidic volume
was added on the top of the existing
building to create a connection with the
addition and to act as a skylight.
A presentation video was created using
Adobe Premier Pro and can be accessed

A 4-storey mixed used building proposed
for 1056 Queen Street West, Toronto.
The concept responded to the history of the
Trinity-Bellwoods by selecting materials
that matched in colour and texture to the
surrounding buildings. Simultaneously, it
responded to the site conditions by
organizing the building massing around an
existing tree at the back corner of the lot.
Sustainable strategies included the use of
Urban Farms and the reuse of graywater to
lower storm-water runoff. Also, LiteZone™
windows proposed with R- value as high as
of R17 to save more energy.
