A B O U T M E
As a child, I have been exposed to my father's career as an architect of more than 30 years. It has been a lifelong passion and a dream of mine to become an architect. Although I have known about the architecture industry through my father, my interest in "real" architecture began when I was 11 years old, when I stumbled upon a coffee table book of old postcards on Filipino built heritage architecture. Now that this dream is now almost within reach, I would strive hard to make this dream a reality. I consider myself architecturally "conservative", with real love for Greco-Roman, Beaux-arts, and Art Deco architectures (or anything classical, really), it is also very ironic that I consider the great Oscar Niemeyer, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and the American urban planner Daniel Burnham as my architectural heroes, but there is more to my interests other than architecture. I am very much interested in the fields of politics, history, and government, which are very pressing subjects. I also am into sports, mainly basketball and an occasional kick of the soccer ball. During my spare time, I listen to music, do architectural photography, sketch, and explore places.
Being enrolled into the Architectural Technology program at Sheridan College gained me a lot of information about the architecture industry. These information will be very vital to the success of my future career.
