Objective:

To find a career opportunity in the architectural technology field that will enhance my academic knowledge, develop my skills, and build my experience.

Education:

2009-2012 Architectural Technology, Advanced Diploma, Sheridan College institute Technology and advanced learning.

  • ¬†Graduated with honours with an average GPA of 3.71/4.0

2005-2009 Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School Diploma.

  • Completed Grade 12 with honours award

Related Technical Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3d Max
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro
  • Good understanding of schematic drawings and construction techniques
  • Knowledgable in the 2006 Ontario Building Code

Personal Skills:

  • Effective planning and time management skills
  • Ability to work as a team member or individually
  • Fluent in writing and speaking English and Arabic
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent in working with numbers and problem solving

Volunteer Experience:

Architectural Technology Courses Outline:

Design Courses:

  • Designed with a group a 2 stories commercial building and produced drawings for floor plans, sections, details and elevations using AutoCad.
  • Designed a 3 stories residential house and produced drawings for floor and roof framing plans, floor plans, sections, details and elevations using AutoCad.
  • Designed a 7 stories commercial, retail and residential building drawings of floor plans, structure plans, and 3d renders including LEED sustainability.

Project Management Courses:

  • Introduced to the basic principles of project management and studied the different types of contracts, tenders, delivery methods, project phases and administration.

Construction Methods Courses:

  • Studied and draw methods of constructing structural elements such as slabs, columns, beams in addition to studying different types of construction equipment and their uses.
