EMMA WATERFIELD

I grew up the grandaughter of architects, and have been surrounded by beautiful structures all my life. From a young age I knew I wanted to one day design and build equally beautiful ones. I went to arts schools for elementary and highschool, and started out my post secondary education at the University of Guelph in Fine Art. Functionality, sustainability and beauty have always greatly influenced my designs, I aim to fuse the natural world with the built environment, in order to provide people with a connection to nature from within my designs. After graduating from Sheridan College with an advanced diploma in Architectural Technology, I plan to work in the field, write my BCIN exams, and eventually continue my education and gain my masters in Architecture. Other passions of mine include permiculture design, urban farming, and urban renewal. I hope to continue my artistic journey, and look forward to developing my skills and creating beautiful spaces that may inspire other generations to pursue the same.
