Collins Office/Warehouse Building Systems

Office Roof:

50 mm white gravel on protected membrane with 75 mm rigid insulation on a 38 mm steel deck sloped 1% on open web steel joists (OWSJ).
 

Warehouse Roof (Extensive Green Roof):

Green mass on 100 mm growth medium, 25 mm roof fleece, 25 mm drainage layer, top and bottom membranes with 100 mm rigid insulation on a 65 mm steel deck sloped 1% on open web steel joists (OWSJ).
 

Second Floor (office):

65mm poured concrete slab with 150x150W.W.F. on 38mm steel decking, on OWSJ on steel beams and columns.
 

Ground Floor (office):

100 mm concrete slab on 50 mm rigid insulation on vapour barrier on compacted granular fill.
  

Ground Floor (warehouse):

125 mm fibre reinforced poured concrete slab, 25 mm rigid insulation on vapour barrier on compacted granular fill.

Exterior Building Envelope:

a) Office:

EIFS (exterior insulated finish system)
Granstone Finish on rigid insulation, OSB sheathing on metal studs with vapour barrier and gypsum wall board.
 

b) Warehouse:

Precast Concrete.
Insulated concrete sandwich panels with 100 mm backer panel, 75 mm rigid Insulation, and 75 mm ribbed exterior panel.  

Foundations:

Interior Columns:

Concrete piers and footings under column where required. Concrete caissons may be used instead of footings in some locations.
  

Exterior Columns:

Poured concrete piers and footings where required.

Foundation Wall:

Typical:

Reinforced poured concrete cap wall on a poured concrete trench footing.
  

Loading Dock:

300mm poured concrete foundation wall on trench footing.
