Note: The drawing below illustrates the elements to be included and the graphic approach typically used for the site plan as required in Phase 3.
Required Elements in the Phase 3 Site Plan:
Property lines: with proper linetype, bearings and dimension text as shown
Setback lines: show the construction area with proper linetype
edge of pavement for all streets and lanes, boulevard allowance if applicable
Proper titleblock as discussed in class and shown in general references
Parking area and driveway
Landscaping concept: trees, paths, plantings(shrubs, hedges etc), ponds, sculptures etc.
Building Footprint: hatched include columns with line of second floor over, entry arrow
Indicate with notes or hatching the desired materials ie, asphalt, gravel, concrete, grass, interlocking pavers etc.
site features ie buildings to be removed, immediately adjacent neighbouring buildings.
