HELLO! BONJOUR! NAMASTE!
My name is Mehak and I am currently in my last year of Sheridan’s Architectural Technology Program. I am an international student from India, and I came to this program right after completing High School. I chose Architecture because I have had an interest in designing since childhood. I always dreamt myself working in this field and within these three years, I got to learn the essential components linked with designing and construction of a building. This would have not been possible without the help of my amazing professors and fellows. I got the opportunity to work as a Junior Architectural Technologist at Arbor Memorial Inc., Architectural Tutor at Sheridan and, as a Project Co-ordinator Co-op Student at MCity, Ellisdon during my Co-op opportunities. The decision of choosing Sheridan for my diploma was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made because I got to acknowledge myself with Architecture, alongside practicing it in the industry. With all the lessons learnt from Sheridan and through my Co-op opportunities,
I am hoping to find a job where I can utilize my skills and enhance my knowledge even more. I am planning on going to Boston for my masters once I am prepared and ready to step up.
