My name is Opeoluwa Ale Victory. I am an international student from Nigeria currently pursuing a 3-year Advanced Diploma Degree in the Architectural Technology Program at Sheridan College, Hazel McCallion Campus, Mississauga Ontario.I am presently rounding up my last semester in this program and have gained a lot of skills and experiences within these past 3 academic years that have prepared me for the architectural working sector. I have also been able to gain expertise and acquire skills in the use of various architectural drafting, modelling and rendering softwares, gain better understanding of by-laws and use of the Ontario Building Code, develop myself as a whole and grow and mature my interpersonal skills and qualities.

  1. Residential Renovation Project (2021)
    • Required sourcing out clients by ourselves who were in need of a significant level of renovation in their houses so we could generate designs (during a given time frame) for them that meet their various desires or needs the best way possible.
    • Involved full measurement of existing house, research of the various zoning information required, and modelling of the existing building structure, as well as proposed design with the use of drafting softwares like Revit and AutoCAD.
    • Involved consistent communication with the clients all through the semester to communicate any issues, changes, or revisions that arose in the design phase.

  2. Mid-rise residential project (2021)
    • Designed a mid-rise residential complex using modelling and drafting softwares like AutoCAD and Revit
    • Utilized the Ontario Building Code as a guide to tackle technical issues and know the minimum standards for various aspects of the building’s design such as accessibility standards and energy efficiency.

  3. Micro Housing Competition (2022)
  4. Designing a tiny house under 50sqm for 2 people that would provide comfortable living accommodations, be sustainable and spark creativity in its design, with the use of drafting, modelling and rendering softwares like AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Adobe photoshop.

  5. City of Halton (2022)
  6. Currently participating in a project organized by the city of Halton to create quality renderings of a road widening project for Trafalgar road that the city is presently working on with the use of Adobe photoshop to produce quality renderings.

  7. Paisley Mills Adaptive Re-use Project (2022)
  8. Presently designing an adaptive re-use for an unused silo structure in Paisley, Ontario with the use of drafting, structural and rendering softwares like AutoCAD, Revit, Robot structural analysis, and Adobe photoshop.

    • Physically picks online orders within the store made by customers from the website or app in a timely manner.
    • Correctly records and labels all online orders correctly through interpretation and understanding documentation including pick labels , packaging details and shipping labels.
    • Provide assistance or direction to customers within the store.

    • Following clients requested theme or design to detail.
    • Setting up equipment at event location in a timely manner.
    • Ensuring that clients are fully satisfied with set up.
