Hello! My name is Chris Cancellara and I am currently in my third year of the Architectural Technology program at Sheridan College. Growing up in the suburbs of Mississauga, it was always a delight when my family and I would make weekend trips to my grandparents' 19th century log home in rural Quebec. It was there and then where i developed a keen interest in historical architecture, and eventually architecture as a whole.

These past few years at Sheridan have really opened up my eyes as to just how sustainable architecture can be, as well as the many different ways one can implement sustainable elements into a design. I find it inspiring to know that this will be the future of the industry and I for one am excited to one day be a part of it. Since I am passionate about historical architecture and sustainability, my ultimate goal would be to work on historical restoration projects while incorporating sustainable elements into them.
