Hi, my name is Jeffrey Akio Fallows. Welcome to my website. I am a graduate of Sheridan College with an Architectural Technology Advanced Dimploma. This program has given me the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the architectural field, while giving me the freedom to be creative and unique. By combining both the knowledge and creativity I have gained over the past three years, I have been able to create and design buildings I never imagined I would be able to. Click the portfolio button at the top of the page to view some of the renders and drawing plans I have created for a number of different building projects throughout my years at Sheridan. Throughout my life, music and sports have made a huge impact on who I have become. I have played a number of team based sports (hockey, baseball, rugby, volleyball) and individual sports (badminton, golf, weightlifting). Sports has taught me valuable lessons on working, motivating, communicating, and helping out teammates in order to achieve an overall goal. Individual sports have taught me to motivate myself to be the best I can be, problem solve/finding solutions on my own, and learn from my mistakes. Music has also been something I enjoy and have taken life lessons from. I have taught myself both the acoustic and electric guitar using internet and printed resources, and have also learned the saxaphone. For a number of songs I have ended up learning, I thought it would be impossible for me to play. This has given me the confidence to know that I can achieve great things through dedication and hard work. These lessons I look to take from one part of my life and encorporate into my future careers.

Our goal for the competition was to design a one person shelter inspired by nature. We took inspiration from the movement and shell of a pill (potato) bug. Using only cardboard, bristol board paper, string, and a stapler, we constructed a moveable roofing system simulating the movement of the pill bugs shell.
