Hello, my name is Michael Brian Naval. I was born and raised in the city of Toronto, where I gained a passion for Art, Architecture and History. I enjoy drawing and designing things as a hobby, for a passed time I typically do research through world history. I always love learning about other cultures as they teach me different values and techniques when applying skills into my works. I have a deep appreciation and love to Gothic and Classical Architectures as they aesthetically amuse me.
As for education, I am a recent graduate of Architectural Technology program of Sheridan College. Prior to that, I am a certificate graduate from Sheridan College Art Fundamentals. During my time in the college, I have gained knowledge and experience in the field of Architecture through Sheridan College. Over the course of the past three years, I have worked in the construction industry to better understand it by hands on experiences. Additionally, I have volunteered to design a building for clients in London using the software skills learned from the college.
When it comes to softwares learned in school, I am proficient with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and Microsoft Office. In addition, I do enjoy learning about recent trends and technologies that have been introduced to the field of architecture as my curiosity excites me to know more about it. As the world always changes in value I do wonder what the future holds in regards of sustainable building techniques. Thus, I do look forward on my continuous learning and expand my knowledge in design as I start my career.
