Paisly mills project was assigned in my last semester of architecture school. In this project, the challenge was to reuse the old Paisly mills silo in my new building and turning the building nto something the community can benifit from in various ways like education, attraction etc. without removing the history of the building completely. To solve this problem, I kept most of the original exterior shape of th silo and added my new addition in Black to show the new Vs. old. I added a groccery store on the main floor and resturant on the second floor, both using locally gatherd and produced food.
