QUEENS PALACE

Queen's palace is a 6 storey mixed commercial and residential apartment building, located at 1056 Queen Street, West, Toronto, Ontario. The grounf floor of the proposed building consists of commercial shops whereas rest of the building is used for resedential purposes. Existing site is also taken under consideration. Building is designed without any hinderence to the tree on the fenning street. The main focus was to make a building sustainable and allow more sunlight to enter the building.

 


NINTH LINE FIRE-STATION

Fire stations are very unique hybrid of public and residential spaces. For Fire fighters, they are like their homes. As they spent most of their time here so the building should consists of various spaces to relax, exercise, work etc. In case of emergency, they require clear, straight and near way to the apparatus bay so they can get easy access to fire trucks.

 


PAISLEY MILL ENTERTAINMENT CENTER

City of paisley lacks with an entertainment places. So, an entertainment center is proposed. Indoor playing activities like billiards, snooker etc, has been proposed in the first two floors of the silo. Third floor is proposed as a bar where they can have some drinks while playing.
