RELEVANT PROJECT WORK

Re-build/ renovate a house located in kings way, Toronto near the lake. The challenging task was to get as much sunlight as possible to the house with the consideration of heat gaining. In addition, the site and zoning by-law won’t allow windows on the east and west side of the building. To reach that goal was to renovate and redesign the north and south facade of the building taking the advantage of the huge green space in the south end of the house creating custom large windows. And to add larger windows to the north end. Moreover, a skylight was added to the roof in a fashionable way allowing the sunlight to get to the middle of the house. The results were proficient as the solution score a 95%.
