STUDIO 6 - Paisley Game Center

Description: The project demonstrates full-scale adaptive reuse of the 4-storey silo building, using a Passive House methodology to the best of its ability. Any idea is open to discussion, as long as it reuses the existing structure and is viable for the local area. From studying the needs of the area around Paisley Mills, the proposed design would focus on building a Game Center where there are healthy recreational activities for the community in a small town.

The design includes an existing 3-storey design and an extension of the area in the North with taking advantage of the advantages from the structure, natural light, landscape, topography, surrounding of the building. People can enjoy life at the cafe on the ground floor and join the game club on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

Architectural Visualization - Erlenmeyer Tent

Description: The Erlenmeyer Tent is a design inspired by the Bee Breeders Micro home 2021 competition. The compact 25SM off-grid modular structure shaped similar to an Erlenmeyer flask hopes to be an alternative solution to maximize the limiting available space for future housing developments worldwide. We designed the modular home by manipulating basic shapes and playing with their form to incite unique characteristics of a reinvented form. The home also plays with the angles for light and glass orientation to absorb and bounce off to provide comfort to the occupants to feel spacious despite the compact size. This micro home can be placed worldwide so that the style can have innovative materials and technology with low environmental impact placed on its exterior. The Erlenmeyer tent can be camouflaged in the deep forest or stand out on its own in the desert; wherever the micro home is located, it can adapt to it.
