I had the responsibility for all the steel members using tributory calculations to determine all the proper sizes. I designed two of office floors and incorporated OBC into determining life and safety measures.

I came up with the original design incorporating passive design that I was influenced by last semester. This allows shading for the building while allowing nature light into interior spaces of the daycare. I also incorporated borrowed light which allows natural light to spread into corridor's of interior. Daycare that we designed is connected to a Ebenezer Hall Heritage Building. I learned how to connect new structure to old structure.
